The award of the order for the production of complex gear components to Jung & Co. led to unexpected follow-on effects in our customer's company. The time frame allowed for in the past for the assembly of components has now been halved.
Initially our customer's factory management did not believe the assembly department's completion notice, assumed that there had been a typing error, but nevertheless decided to query it. The surprising but ultra-simple explanation from the department was simply that there was no need to rework the parts because of inaccuracies in the design of the mould and position. Jung & Co.'s new production resulted in greater interchangeability of components and resulted in even more efficient assembly performance in final assembly.
Jung & Co.'s average tolerance manufacturing concept gave our customer a real competitive edge on account of the time savings achieved.
